Greenwood County Vehicle and Surplus Auction

All items sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied on function or condition.  There will be a 10% buyer's premium added to the final bid to arrive at the purchase price.  At the close of the auction the credit card on file will automatically be charged for invoices of $500 or less and non-vehicle items.  All vehicles and invoices on items greater than $500 must be paid by cash, check, cashier's check, or wire transfer prior to removal of items (personal checks must clear before titles for vehicles will be released.)  Please ask questions before bidding as there are no refunds on purchases.  Payment must be received prior to removal.  Lots will start closing at 7:00 PM on Wed., July 27th and will have a staggered close, meaning for lots 1-7 one lot will close every 2 minutes and for all remaining lots one lot will close every 30 seconds until all lots have closed.  Lots will soft close, meaning if a bid is received within 1 minute of close the item will automatically extend by 1 minute.  All online bids are legally binding and final.  Items become the buyer's responsibility at the close of the auction.  Removal & pickup of all items (excluding vehicles) will be Tuesday August 2, 2022 between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Removal of vehicles will be by appointment only, and must be removed by Friday August 8th.  No exceptions will be made for removal of items, it is the buyers responsibility to remove their items during the allotted removal time.  Items shall not be removed until those items have been paid in full.  Please bring valid ID matching the bidder registration to verify purchases.  Any item (excluding vehicles) left after 7:00 pm on 8/2/2022 will no longer be available for pickup but will still have to be paid for according to the bidding terms.  Items located at the Greenwood County Shop Yard, 510 S. Less than $50  -  $1/bid

$50 to $200  -  $5/bid

$200 to $500  -  $10/bid

$500 to $1000  -  $25/bid

$1000 to $10000  -  $100/bid

Greater than $10000 - $500/bid

Max Bid Info

Bidders are able to place bids in two ways.  Bids can be placed manually or a bidder can enter a max bid, the software will then bid for them as bids from other bidders come in, up to the maximum amount they entered.  Since the software can not predict how the future bids will come in this leads to a situation where sometimes a bidder will place a bid manually and then immediately get outbid for the same amount.  This is because another bidder had a max bid placed at that amount and the software will take the bid that was placed first.  For example if you manually bid $10 on an item and instantly get out bid but the item remains at $10, another bidder's max bid was $10 so if you bid $11 at that point you would have surpassed their max bid.
