Personal Property Auction - Melvin Knight Estate, Seller

All vehicles & equipment sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied on function or condition.  There will be a 10% buyer's premium added to the final bid to arrive at the purchase price.  Payment accepted will be cash or check and must be paid at the time of pickup.  Please ask questions before bidding as there are no refunds on purchases.  Payment must be received prior to removal.  Lots will start closing at 1:30 PM on Thursday, September 25th and will have a staggered close, meaning one lot will close every 30 seconds until all lots have closed.  Lots will soft close, meaning if a bid is received within 1 minute of close, the item will automatically extend by 1 minute.  All online bids are legally binding and final.  Items become the buyer's responsibility at the close of the auction.  Pickup/removal of items will be Friday, September 26th, 2025 from 2-6 PM, please call for arrangements to remove larger items at a later date, all larger items must be removed no later than October 5th, 2025.  Location:  512 N. Greenwood, Severy, KS. Directions - from East Hwy. 99/400 Jct., 6/10 mile south to 15th St., 3/10 mile east to driveway, turn right (south) into property. No exceptions will be made for removal of items.  It is the buyer's responsibility to remove their items during the allotted removal time.  Items shall not be removed until those items have been paid in full.  Please bring valid ID matching the bidder registration to verify purchases.  Please bring your own equipment, help, etc. for picking up items.  Thanks, Johnson Realty!

Johnson Realty & Auction has provided information based upon the seller's and our knowledge of the vehicles/items.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect the item, prior to bidding, and make their own assessment as to the vehicle/item’s condition and suitability for use.  We report the mileage/hours shown on the odometer/meter, we will not guarantee actual known mileage/hours.  Everything is sold "as is in its presenting existing condition" without any guarantees or warranties by the seller or Johnson Realty & Auction.  Johnson Realty & Auction is not responsible for any statements about the vehicle/items made by the Seller.

Note:  Cash payments will receive titles at the time of payment, if paying with a check the titles will be held for 2 weeks before being dispersed to verify that check is good.

Any item not picked up or paid for during the allotted removal time will be forfeited with payment still required.  There will be a $30 fee added for any returned checks.

Bid Increments

Less than $50  -  $1/bid

$50 to $500  -  $5/bid

$500 to $2,000  -  $10/bid

$2,000 to $5,000  -  $25/bid

$5,000 to $10,000  -  $100/bid

$10,000 to $20,000 - $200/bid

Greater than $20,000 - $500/bid

Max Bid Info

Bidders are able to place bids in two ways.  Bids can be placed manually, or a bidder can enter a max bid. On a max bid, the software will then bid for them based off the scale bid amount as bids from other bidders come in, up to the maximum amount they entered.  Since the software cannot predict how the future bids will come in, this leads to a situation where sometimes a bidder will place a bid manually and then immediately get outbid for the same amount.  This is because another bidder had a max bid placed at that amount and the software will take the bid that was placed first.  For example, if you manually bid $10 on an item and instantly get out bid but the item remains at $10, another bidder's max bid was $10 so if you bid $11 at that point you would have surpassed their max bid.

NO PICKUP PRIOR TO 2 PM ON FRIDAY!  We will be using the time prior to 2:00 pm to sort and organize items by buyer to avoid confusion at pickup.  This allows for a faster, easier pickup for the buyers.  Pickup/payment window is 2-6 PM.  Thank you for your understanding!
